![]() In any given meal, you can only eat an item once trying to click it a second time will just unselect it. If he fills up but he's still wounded, have him eat more food with XP you don't care about so you don't mind it being lost.Īlso, if you don't mind spending a little extra time, you can always have multiple meals at the same place. So if you head to a restaurant and Kiryu is wounded, take a little time to plan out his meal order: are you lacking technical XP? Have him eat food that gives him technical XP first. When sitting down to eat, he eats based on the order of what items you click on. He has a fullness meter, and if you make him eat when he's full, he'll still gain the health from the food, but he won't gain the XP. There are more details in the Tips and Tricks for General Topics page, but essentially Kiryu is always hungry and can gain XP quickly just by sitting down for a meal. As you play deeper in the story more options and more Mini-Games will open up, but you can always count on food. Speaking of gaining XP, eating at restaurants is a good way to XP early on. The final levels of those skill lines are expensive, but the earlier you get them, the less you'll have to scrounge for those XP late in the game. ![]() Even then, it may be better to grab some technique- or charm-heavy food at a restaurant rather than playing too many Mini-Games unless you have a lot of fun doing them.Īlso, because technique and charm are tough to raise, consider investing early in the "Boost EXP Gain (Technique)" and "Boost EXP Gain (Charm)" skills early in the game, all of which are located in the "Other Skills" tab. It's arguably less expensive but much more time-consuming to raise technical compared to charm.īecause XP (including technique and charm) come frequently from Sub Stories and Troublr, it's advised that early on you shouldn't go out of your way for those two types of XP unless there is a specific skill you're trying to buy. Technique XP can be gained by playing skill-based mini-games, such as arcade games at Club SEGA or DARTSLIVE. A better choice would be to do Live Chatting, although that will run you some yen too. Visiting the Cabaret Club and spending money on the hostesses will draw large sums of charm, but it's an expensive option early in the game. Of the two, charm XP is much easier to raise than technique XP. Kiryu can hold up to 9999 of any XP, though no skill costs anywhere near that amount. Conversely, technique and charm are more challenging to raise you'll have to play Mini-Games or eat at restaurants. Kiryu will gain some after every street fight, with story fights and boss fights offering even more. Strength, agility, and spirit are easy to raise. They are self-explanatory as to what stats they raise, though most skills will require multiple types of XP to be spent. These are strength (red), agility (blue), spirit (yellow), technique (green), and charm (purple). Kiryu will earn fives types of experience points throughout his adventure denoted by color codes.
